Yesterday, my cousin became married. I attended the wedding and met up with a lot of nostalgic people. I'm happy for Ed, my cousin. All these years he always was a "player", but once he met Elissa, he suddenly changed (for the better).

Which makes me proud of him. He is the closest to me in our entire extended family, being born in the same year. While in childhood we were the best of friends, we sort of grown apart around the high school years. Once we graduated, we never talked again, save for when we meet each other through family gatherings.

Still, I find him to be a good friend. Elissa is a great addition to the family. Ed has made a good choice. She will make him to be a better man, more so than she already has. They have a child now, born a couple of months before the marriage.

Oh, and I turned 23 yesterday.
