I'm looking forward to no presents again this year!
It may be chronologically incorrect, but December 25th is the day we celebrate Christ's birth. We celebrate it, doesn't mean he was born that day. Sheesh.

And to those who type "Xmas" or anything remotely like that...what the hell does that mean, anyway?

Seriously, when they shorten words like "crossing" they replace it with an X, "xing". Which makes sense because a cross is an X on its side.

But to call Christmas "Xmas" is really more confusing than anything I've ever seen. Christ ≠ cross.

Christ was crucified on a cross, he isn't one himself.

Oh, and I don't like talking about current events or politics. I choose not to let people know if I'm upset or happy about such things. I would appreciate it if you did the same for me.

Christmas is silly. It's a merging of a bunch of other religion's holidays and called "christ's birth"... For the church's benefit, more or less. :P

I like presents, though. But it's a bit silly to just give them because "it's christmas".. Iuno. But I still like them. XD

There's a great song by Emerald Rose called "Santa is Pagan Too"... you might not get it if you aren't familiar with some pagan stuff but its hysterical! :XD:

It's true though, Christmas is really Yule; Christ was more likely born in I *think* April.
People put X because they want to take Christ out of Christmas, which I personally find stupid. If you don't celebrate Christma, call it winter solstice... Or Yule! Same number of letters! =/

I like giving gifts, and I like the fact the people are supposed to behave better around this time.

And I really like the snow and the festive atmosphere.

And the lights. All the pretty lights!

And the idea that you are representing the greatest gift ever given to you by giving gifts to other people. It doesn't even compare, but think of the joy you felt at such a small gift... and think about that 1,000 fold.

Yeah, it's comercialized. Yes, it was a scam to sell more crap. Whatever. This is what I make it. ^________^

Don't feel bad, I won't be recieving gifts either. But I'm giving a whole bunch!
